The needed funds were reached so quickly, and I didn't get chance to give a donation. I really would still like to make donation.

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that I received a promised check which I have added to the BCAW paypal account. I have paid for the web hosting fees leaving a remaining balance of $59.87. This money will be held in our rainy day fund to be used for either necessary unexpected expenses or next year when fees are again due.

Thank you again to all those who were quick enough to click to help offset our operating costs. If you were disappointed and did not get a chance to contribute, there is always next time!

Until then, I am locking this thread and will reopen it when BCAW needs your financial help once again.

If you have any questions, please send me a PM.
:thankyou
Gigi

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that the BCAW operating fees are again due. At this time, we have reinstalled the Image at the bottom of each page. Instructions for donating through PayPal are in the "How to Donate" thread.

I will keep you informed of the "State of the BCAW Bank" and let you know when we have received enough money to pay the bills!
Any extra money will be kept in our rainy day fund :playrain:. :thanku in advance for your generosity!
This thread is currently unlocked while we are actively seeking donations -- so reply away!!!

If you have any questions, please send me a PM or email me at peregrinefalcon.bcaw@gmail.com

I don't have a PayPal account since I don't do selling online. Several friends who do eBay sales have them, but I never set one up. I think this is the only reason I'd have to use it. I'm hoping an address and instructions for sending a check will be posted for those of us who don't have PayPal.

Hi Carol,

You do not need a PayPal account. If you click on the Donate button there are instructions on the left of the page [towards the bottom] for paying with a credit card.

I would like to avoid checks this year if at all possible. Since BCAW does not have a bank account, checks have to come through me. Although I am honest as the day is long, I worried about losing a check or something like that. PayPal, whether you have an account or use a credit card through the PayPal site, is really the most secure way to make a donation.

If it is not possible for you to do a credit card transaction through PayPal, PM me and I will send my address.

Thanks so much!! Gigi

DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!
:wow:

The Donate button must be really HOT. In the short time we have activated it, we have received a whopping $162.31 in donations.
I am overwhelmed and humbled by your generosity. Thank you so much! :thankyou

I am off to bed! Nighty night!! :offtobed:

Yes I did. Thanks for pointing out the alternate for credit cards. I didn't see that option so I'm glad to know it's there. I'm glad there are so many generous people here to help keep the forum going! :dancinggirls:

Well, in record time we received more than enough to pay for 2 years for the wonderful and fabulous BCAW forum! Words just cannot express how great it is to know that when the word went out, that enough money was donated in less than 6 hours - for not just one year, but 2!
:thankyou to all who were quick to click so members from around the world can have a this extraordinary place to share.

I just donated on Saturday morning, so there is still time! I had forgotten my Pay Pal account information, and they will not let you pay by credit card if you have a Pay Pal account (except, of course, by credit card through Pay Pal). It only takes about five minute to clear it all up, and I kept meaning to come back to the computer to do it, but you know how unpleasant it is to deal with that sort of stuff.

Well, I went on line this morning, and got it all cleared up, and got my donation in, and I am sure they will still take yours--the bank is still apparently OPEN!! :thumbup :spingirl:
