AUDACITY AND JAK HAVE A PIP! This is the Sauces Nest that has not had a chick since Dina in 2021 as all their eggs usually break. This egg is thought to be the 1st one laid as the 2nd and 3rd ones broke.

Good view of the chick at Sauces at 6:57 am and of feeding by both parents at 7:09 am.

sad as it is to lose 1, nature has its ways. I watched these 2 munchkins for a bit today. I usually do not watch too much at this age as I do no t like the bonking, but at one point, they were bonking each other.

Very sad news as both eggs of Jackie and Shadow at Big Bear have been lost to the ravens this afternoon. They were absent for several hours and the ravens came in. Jackie did incubate one of the eggs that had held its shape but eventually it broke apart under her. Hopefully there will be a 2nd clutch.
