Today about 12 o'clock in the nest the female has done laying the first egg. For some days the eagles frequent the nest and were settling, waiting for the sunset. The second egg pondre'l usually two or three days after the first. If the incubation is expected to thrive successfully in forty days, to March 25, the chicks will be born.

We give you a year, welcome to the blog of the Bonelli's Eagle Park of Garraf. Start this space to inform you that this year there have been several improvements in the cameras installed as well as view videostreaming. The main novelty is that you can watch live and simultaneously from two nests in the nest and the nest B. Corner of this, users can continue to prey supporters of this, if there are no setbacks, the two pairs of eagles nesting at the same time, the arrangement of the nests, the laying, hatching and growth of lice. I wish this year have more luck than last year. However, remember that the number of users that can access the display of nests is limited. If you have problems connecting, try again later.

Sorry this is long and probably very confusing :teehee:

Well I finally got a look here again and read or tried to read up on the nests here is what I think has happened first off nest A laid 2 eggs on
first hatch 3/27 second hatch 3/29 seems there isn't a good supply of food and second chick getting pecked and left behind to say on feeding so it was removed 4/13 and taken to be cared for and it got back up to where it should have been the nest B laid eggs that did not hatch so they took eggs & put the chick in that nest 4/17 the Male didn't take to it no harm just stared then the chick got close to edge and male still doing nothing biologists just about ready to go retrieve it and female came to the rescue it took a while for female to come to terms with leave the nest egg come home a couple week old chick there but she finally took to motherhood & I guess things going good
Nest A is having trouble they are not feeding remaining chick so they were going to go get it but the they left food and still nothing but adults eating the food biologists get there and adult comes in so they leave for another day and the chick starts feeding itself there are a lot of short videos that show a lot more as I am typing there is an adult there eating but chick isn't getting anything I sure hope they come and get the chick it is looking weaker by the minute, so all in all the first chick to be removed is doing great with its foster parents and the other well I'm just not sure I hope maybe it got feed in the dark i saw the the parent flew in right before sun up and the chick kinda ran over but the parent was in the way to see anything and I started reading so maybe its laying down because its full (I HOPE) Nest B chick got a snack and now tucked under Foster mom sleeping soundly not a care in the world

Well adult with transmitter is there and just standing over the chick I'm not to sure it was just laying there its breathing you can see but when parent came in and it was loud thud I thought it would get up it didn't lift its head.
I am still hoping that its just real tired BUT well anyway I am going to try and find a forum or someplace that might have posts at them about the eagles but now its off to bed for me so if ANYONE watches this nest please post

This morning some new carrion was placed on the feeder. It looks like a dead brown bear to me . . . :holbugeye:

Turns out it was a wild boar that was killed in a collision with a car.

This afternoon a Golden Eagle came to feed. The webcam got obscured temporarily by the falling snow.

New camera to watch
The Philippine Eagle Cam is a partnership between the Raptor Resource Project in Decorah, Iowa, and the Philippine Eagle Foundation in Davao City, Philippines. The Philippine Eagle is a highly endangered forest eagle. We are raising funds to buy land around their nests.
There is an egg also
