There were other bird sounds there SGB. I think it is time for me to take another trip to Hornby when I visit my dad.

While the wind whips up the waters of the bay and bends the trees, Dad Hornby calmly preens. He spreads the oil produced by the uropygial gland, located on his back just above the base of his tail, through his feathers. This oil helps to keep his feathers supple and to maintain their integrity. This oil does not waterproof the feathers. Clean feathers in good condition are naturally waterproof.

I sure hope beans puts the wonderful video here I just watched, I bawled like a baby it is so beautiful.
Sad that the nest didn't work out this year, but next season is to far off.
