Thanks, Beth! 10:06am Someone has been brooding for the past 1/2 hour (that I've been watching); looks like it's still Dad, but not sure. Looks like s/he's taking a nap. Heard a couple of quite chirps but didn't see anyone. Just took another hard look and I'm 99% sure that it's Dad. No one is on the pixelated cam 1 (when I refresh, I get a good look at cam 1, then it goes bonkers). |

2:17pm JC Looks like all is well. Very quiet; pretty sure Dad is still on the eggs, occasionally napping (and looking right into the camera!); haven't seen or heard mom. |

5:05pm J.C. All is well. Dad(pretty sure!) has been brooding all day. I've been waiting for Mom to come back, or to make an appearance... I heard some loud industrial noises - woke Dad up, couldn't see anything or how close is actually was to the nest. |

11:32am Quick check... Cam 2 is on, 1/2 of Cam 1 is on, with the pixelating in the bottom half. Looks like Dad on eggs, pretty sure it was Mom that I saw earlier. All is well, everything seems quiet. |

JC 12:07pm During the past 1/2 or so; incubating parent (dad?) has occasionally looked up and chirped (can't see cam1). He even left the nest for a few seconds and came right back to the eggs. All the while, he keeps dozing off - so I don't think it's anything to be alarmed about! |

1:51pm (Please ignore my references to 'mom' and 'dad' I don't think I can tell them apart...) The unbanded parent just came in to relieve the banded parent (mom? looked bigger). Lots of chirping... Very pleasant. |

Lots of chirping... Very pleasant. I love that...yes, with the cam so close, its hard to tell. Mom is banded, Dad is not...so, if you are lucky enough to see the legs, then no problem!! |

Update posted 5-5-17 on Jersey City cam page: "Thank you to everyone who emailed, called, messaged to bug me about the fact that the cam(s) have been offline. We have been working with our streaming partner to improve the quality of our streams and deliver them to the masses, to help bring awareness to protecting rare wildlife. We're now testing out streaming the video directly on YouTube, which would allow us to stream here and go "Live" on Facebook and Twitter. While we would really love to do this, we have to justify doing it at a greater expense (I'm making the case to support this feature). I hope that if you watch this camera and enjoy what you see, then you can help support it by making a donation online today. :) In other news, 41/AX has been incubating her three eggs. The last egg was laid on April 24, which puts the hatch date around May 25." |

Union County If the picture with the May 3 blog entry is correct, they have lost an egg..(pic only shows 4 eggs)..I'm guessing its one of the prior female's, but they insinuate that it is one of Cadence's.. |
