What a great video. She is really flying good for a big girl that didn't get much exercise before fledge. I might add that she is living up to her name of Noisy Nelly. She is quite the screamer!

She is one Giant Guvie!! Amazing flying for out of the box for only 1 week. She has been flying at least 6 blocks to the north and back. |

UC - an adult (dad?) is visiting the nestbox.  He stayed several minutes, looking around the nestbox, stepping out, looking at his feet, going back in the nestbox, looking around, stepping out, looking around, stepping quickly off cam...

Union County I couldn't open the Jersey City cam, so I checked in on Union County to find Dad in the box chupping away. Cadence came in to join him for a long bonding session...a good 5 min. What luck! Both have peachy feathers on their breast with their molt, but Cadence's breast feathers are much darker. She looks so different with this new coloring. 7:56 pm - Bonding. UC Cadence is checking out her nestbox Yes, I saw her band green black, 91/ BA. Now we are pebble picking, and even a little scraping.....Wow she really has a rusty toned chest like her mom! And more "thinking"..... " I tried so hard to be a good falcon like mama said, and everything went wrong.... Mommeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Dad came! Well they bonded for about 30 seconds and Cadence ran out the door and flew away. Dad is outside the box calling for her....
