Bev, she has laid 5 eggs! I looked last night before I went to bed and this morning when I got up, but she was on them. I saw sky's post on "breaking news" about FB saying there were 5 eggs about 1 minute after she posted and came here. As luck would have it, Hope was off the eggs and sure enough, I counted 5!!

SH-- . I do not like 5 eggs anywhere. what were yo thinking HOPE. if you look above your post you will see that I was thinking 5 yesterday but hoping not. She was not acting like she had a full clutch.

I love HOpe but I do not watch any 5 egg nests after hatching for a few weeks. :12val:

Surprise! This morning at 6:08am Hope, the female peregrine at Pitt, laid a fifth egg.

We didn’t expect it but Hope certainly knew it was coming. This may — or may not — change our estimation of hatch date. Only Hope knows the answer to that.

Will she lay six? I doubt it but you never know.

Wondering if this is Terzo on the eggs right now, as I see 1 peeking out? Of course, 5 eggs is difficult for anyone to cover! :10val:
