This poor chick (I think its the baby) has been stuck on its back now for 2 hrs...it was up for a feed, I had to walk away for a few and when I came back, it was upside down...then a downpour and I couldn't see a thing!!! Everybody got wet from what I could see and I have just reopened the cam..It looks like its really struggling to breathe..Of course, its not helping that siblings and mom will not get off of it...Mom has tried to flip it with no success..She's tried to move the other kids with no success..

I have to admit, this is freaking me out.

Mom was finally able to flip the baby by accident..its cold, wet, and exhausted...its breathing is still quite labored...I hope its ok..

I wish I knew what happened...it was up and feeding and when I came back to the cam it was on its back, kicking 1 of its leg...and that's how it stayed...I thought for sure it would flip like they always do, but it didn't...so, I thought mom must have her foot on its foot and it couldn't get out or a sibling was sitting on a wing...then it started to rain big time...mom scrunched even more on the kids..which made it worse..and then I couldn't see a thing...

I hope its ok..

I would feel better if it would move under mom...but, nope...and breathing is still very labored...just exhausted? in pain? I have no clue

Looks like the little guy is okay after yesterday. He looks good! There was a feed not that long ago and he swallowed a whole leg. Mom fed him more after that!

The light was not good this Am when mom was feeding and blocking the view. After she left the little one looked to have a very large crop! :egg19:
