I received a report of last night's activity. Hallie and Edward continue to spend a lot of time on the top of the PG&E building. Hallie is a bit of a night owl and was often seen flying with Val. Edward has been quiet, at least during the evenings. Hallie is flying well and has good control of her flying skills. Window ledge landings continue to be a problem and she was last seen over 201 Mission, where she probably landed and spent the night. The window ledges are probably 8" to 10" deep and while they can swallow up Edward, Hallie's size makes her landings more difficult. She will get the hang of it. I just wish she would practice during the day.

Have not watched this nest or San Jose this year, as I have seen enough preventable deaths with these nests to last a lifetime. My love for the California nests is what makes me feel so close to the chicks even though I don't know them at all, I guess. I am sorry little Archibald is lost.

we do not know what happened to him as he was found inside a building. I have not heard anything else.

we also lost Haley. but she had been flying well.

breaks my heart but this is the hardest time for them and for us. but she flew well, and experienced a falocn life for awhile :sorrow:

they have been seeing 2 falcons here. the cam operator is good at catching them at home or across the way :15heartbeat:

:flirty: Is it still Cher and Dapper Dan here? Looks like Dapper Dan brought in a food gift for Cher. Some quick bowing and chupping, and Dan flew off to the tall building in the distance. You can actually tell it’s him. Kind of on a lower Area to the side of the tall building. Dan is sitting on a railing and Cher is enjoying her food gift :biggrin:

there have been prey drop offs, so hopefully things will go well. I am no t ready for falcons yet :4shiver:

:penguin: I can see a peregrine sized bird perched on the “tv antennae- looking thing” just like I saw it fly to the other day... See the taller blue- gray building? Come down to where the dark part begins- it has what look like railings around the edge. Follow the railings around to the left side Of the bluish building. Right now a peregrine is perched on the thing that looks like a t.v antennae.
