Tuned into the cam a bit ago to find Red Girl perched in front of the nest box and her four chicks at various places. The chicks are starting to get their Peregrine facial patterns and tips of feathers are beginning to show on their wings.

Am wondering if Red Girl's chicks were just banded. Tuned into the cam and saw a human arm cleaning up some of the feather mess in the box, four totally shocked chicks staring at the cam, and a FURIOUS Red Girl at the entrance to the box. And it was announced on the falcons' Facebook page that they would be banded this afternoon, but didn't see that in time. I do NOT know the genders.

Red Girl didn't go into the box for a long time after the banding. There was a feeding a little before 8:00, and all chicks were well fed.

I've just read on Facebook about the banding of Red Girl's and Trinity's chicks. Three males and one female.

Tuned into the cam a bit ago to find a feeding underway. Red Girl is so careful to see that each gets fed. She drags that prey around in the box to any chick that hasn't come to her. And thanks for the picture, MA.

Tuned in this morning to find four very active chicks. One was scampering around in the box doing a lot of wing flapping. Feathers are coming in more and more.

Tuned in to the cam a bit ago to find a feeding underway. One by one the chicks were full and walked away from Red Girl, but one stayed to be fed every last bite. After the feeding ended, that same chick was doing some major wing flapping, stirring up the feathers in the box. I understand that one of the chicks tried to get up on the ledge in front of the box yesterday but was not successful.

Just tuned into the cam to find TWO of the chicks up on the ledge in front of the nest box, although one has since hopped back into the box. I learned elsewhere that one got up there yesterday.

Great pictures, Terka. I just saw the two up there earlier. These four are growing up too fast!

All four up on the ledge this morning in the sunny spot. Must be cool in Delaware this morning. Looks like it's breezy also.

Glad you shared that link for those not on Facebook, Loza. Tuned in a bit ago to find two chicks sleeping at the end of the ledge, and two standing. Red Girl flew in to check on them. As soon as they saw she didn't have food they quickly lost interest.

One of the boys is standing on that piece of wood that's in front of the ledge, looking out over the city. At first I thought it was an adult until I noticed some white fluff. And some of that fluff is stuck on cobwebs of both cams, making it hard to see when there's a breeze.

Don't know how to share the pictures, but I just saw and read on Facebook that one of the boys is on the ledge beneath the nest box. For now he's in a safe place. I figured something was going on when I looked at the cam a bit ago and could find only three.

Pretty sure somebody is down there watching. The adults know where he is. One kid on the ledge is working on some food, and Red Girl just delivered what looks like a Catbird.
