Am wondering if one of the kids has fledged? I'm only seeing four via the cam right now. False alarm. Just saw all five in the box.

One of the kids has fledged and is on the roof of a bank building diagonally across the street from the nest building. About five minutes ago Red Girl brought in some breakfast and got outta there PDQ.

Just read on FB that the watchers aren't sure where he has gotten to. I know from doing fledge watch how difficult it is to keep track of them and also to post information.

I've not heard anything since earlier this morning. If I hear anything else I'll share it. Four all sacked out for their siesta now.

I learned this sad news about half an hour ago. I can't handle to much unpleasantness right now, as yesterday afternoon I discovered the baby Bluebirds in the nest box in my yard had perished. :-(

No details, but there was a fledge this morning around 5:45. It may have been accidental. I know there are people there watching right now.

The bird who fledged this morning is currently on the parking garage across from the Hotel DuPont where he is being entertained by House Finch.

My thanks too, Loza. I don't know which one this is, but he/she has had another flight, and is on a little rooftop close to where the elevators come out on the parking garage where the watchers are located. That spot is slightly higher than the one in the picture, which is good news. I do believe nasty storms are in the forecast for Wilmington later today.

Looking at the three that are on the ledge right now, I think it's safe to say that one of them is the lone female. The parking garage roof where the watchers are located is almost RIGHT below the nest ledge. Looks like they can see their brother about ten stories below them.

I have no information, but am only seeing two young birds on the ledge right now. Saw something on a chat room on one of the cams that there was a fledge shortly before 3:00 this afternoon.

Sounds like the one that fledged a little before 3:00 is on a BIG roof next to the nest building. The one that fledged this morning is on a window ledge of that same building. I am a little familiar with the area. The building with the big flat roof is to the left of the nest building.

No different updates than what I last posted. Looking forward to going to Wilmington tomorrow to help with their fledge watch.

Spent a nice day in Wilmington observing Red Girl, Trinity, and their family. One of the young falcons had made his way to the roof of the Marriott next to the garage roof where the watches are done. He was there when we arrived around 9:00 this morning. The other male was on a window ledge of a hotel about two blocks away, and I didn't see him for quite some time, although others were keeping their eyes on him from the street. He made a successful flight to another window ledge next to the nest building, and stayed there for quite some time. Then he flew off and nobody could find him, but since he was pretty high up there was little worry. We stationed ourselves so that we could watch both the nest box and the juvie on the Marriott roof. We were QUITE surprised when the missing juvie flew in and landed next to his brother on the Marriott roof. Taking a look a the cam when I got home, I can see that the two in the nest box haven't fledged yet.

I understand that some time after we left to come back to Harrisburg that these two juvies left the Marriott roof and put on quite a show. Such good news!
