Chicks are very active right now after a good nap. Two them were at the edge of the scrape like they might go out onto the ledge, but haven't seen that yet if it has happened. And saw some wing flapping and one chick trying to pick some food off of a leftover in the scrape.

3pm Niecey brought in nice big prey. Looks like pigeon. Kids waiting and lined up a the edge of the scrape.

They sure are hungry. She can't feed them fast enough. Everyone grabbing.

The one in the middle is being a little pig. Was sitting there it looked like choking, but still managed to grab some more. Really funny to watch these guys. Yelling the whole time.

"Yellow feet" was being the pig but the other two's crops are really full.

Around 8:00 Little Dad brought some small prey to the scrape. Niecey took it from him, and in five minutes the chicks had devoured it. Niecey went to the point, but I continued watching the chicks. The one with the yellow feet went out the back door. It was out there maybe a minute before crawling back into the scrape.

Yellow Foot was at the back door again a bit ago, but stayed in the scrape. Niecey on guard on the point. How wonderful to see sunshine this morning after several days of gloom.

Little Dad just finished feeding the chicks and is now on the stick. One chick is trying to get a feather out of its mouth.

Don't know what's going on downtown, but am hearing all kinds of alarm calls and seeing Niecey flying back and forth like crazy. Possibly getting things ready for banding day.

Niecey is still very upset about something. Little Dad is on the stick, and the chicks look puzzled. I can only watch for about ten more minutes.

where did the time go. I have nto had as much viewing time as i would have liked, but so nice to see these guys doing so well.

Thanks for the picture of that most recent feeding, Terka. I got home in time to see most of it. Don't know what the prey was, but the feeding lasted pretty long.

Big feeding by Niecey a short while ago. All were well fed. And Yellow Foot just went out the back door.
