Tuned in a bit ago to find Niecey sitting in the scrape. Am getting the spinning circle on the cam that shows the stick, but it was working last night.

Still getting the spinning circle on the view showing the scrape. Can see a falcon sitting on the shield via the thumbnails. Guess this won't be corrected until Monday at the soonest.

Needed a falcon fix, so made a spin downtown after dinner. Lil Dad was on the point and Niecey on the shield. At first she was preening, but basically motionless. Saw Lil Dad scratch his head once, and that was the extent of the action. However, it was good to see both of them.

Glad the view of the stick is back! Little Dad is on the shield now and Niecey on the point.

Am seeing Little Dad on the stick and Niecey on the point. Both looking warm. There is an update about Blue on the falcon wire, but I don't know how to get it posted on here.

Here it is Jane! Updates on Blue and the family from Falcon Wire News:

8/1/2017 :: Update on "Blue"
The blue-banded falcon remains at the wildlife rehabilitation center. The falcon is flying well, but still undersized. "Blue" will be having additional x-rays to examine the falcon's liver development. At this point, it appears that "Blue" may become an educator's bird supporting endangered species outreach programs. :flirty:

7/28/2017 :: Update from the Ledge!
The fledges have not been observed lately, so they are likely no longer in the area and confident in their flying and hunting abilities. :flirty:

Thanks for posting those updates, SWINWK. I had a chance to speak briefly with the rehabber this past Saturday, as she did a program on raptors at a local nature event. I had limited time to ask some questions about Blue, and was told much the same. Blue is in the company of their current education Peregrine, a beautiful female named Phoenix. Blue is getting three meals a day, and is said to be doing well.

Thanks Jane for asking about Blue when you got an opportunity. I don't know what it's like for the bird that is in captivity, but it's got to be better than dead, right? I'm so sorry the little guy couldn't live a normal falcon life though. I hope the other two are safe and well, and possibly together.

About an hour ago there was a noisy bonding session between Niecey and Little Dad. They were beaking and chattering up a storm. Little Dad gets so excited when Niecey is around.

It's nice to see a post from you alnc. And thanks for the pictures from yesterday, Loza. Niecey has been seen playing in the rain before. I've never seen Little Dad do that, though.

I've seen Niecey on the stick for the past two mornings, but not Little Dad. He IS on the stick right now.
