 Niecey working in the box, and looking at the cam. Don't know exactly what happened as I had another cam open but last time I checked Niecey was on the point and Lil' Dad on the shield, then I heard a lot of talking so I was thinking Lil' Dad brought food. Just caught Niecey enter the box, then he flew to the point. It's almost like he tricked her into getting into the nest box to work on that egg. Well he is smart enough to do that.

Little Dad has been at various places on the ledge all morning. Niecey arrived on the point about half an hour ago, and has been busy fooling with the gravel in the scrape for a while. Not sure if Little Dad brought food for her or not, but it looks like she's had a good breakfast. It's windy here again today, and temps a little above 40. Some very cold nights are in the forecast for the upcoming week, with lows in the mid 20s. Warmer by the end of the week, though. |

Just had a canoodle. She sure is poofy. Edit: Looks like there might be another one. Oops she just flew off and Lil' Dad went to the scrape to work. |

It's fascinating to watch their little mannerisms, their interactions with each other, and their daily lives so closely. Sometimes you know what they are going to do before they do it. Of course, they pull off some surprises too.

Well, she likes to sit in there. But she's not in the egg paying position. Just got home from errands, but will keep watching. |

She's definitely spending the night in the scrape. It would be unusual for her to be incubating an egg right away. Guess we'll have to wait until morning to see. |

I just looked at the cam. Niecey is standing right outside the scrape up against the building. There is no egg. And now I understand what you meant, Heida. |

 Just changed to DST on forum. Niecey is not there now. I watched her all night in same position. Although, I can see an ever so slight change in the position of her beak from ljames to Loza's captures, I did wonder throughout the night if this cam was frozen.

Lil dad just showed up to check things out, Niecey was laying in the scrape when he flew in. Not sure if there is an egg. too dark to tell and she hasn't moved yet. |
