Thanks for the picture, Nancy. Pretty sure that's Blue on the point and Red nearby.

Thanks for the pictures, Loza. One very warm juvie arrived at the end of the ledge about ten minutes ago. I thought it was Red, but not completely sure. The juvie scampered across the ledge to chase an adult off the shield, but it happened so fast I couldn't tell which adult. The juvie rested for about five minutes and then flew off over toward 333 Market. Lovely day here today. Warm, but not humid. However, starting tomorrow it's to be in the 90s with more humidity.

Blue is down at the end of the ledge right now. Pretty sure it's Yellow on the stick. Red has a very full crop, and is down near the stick. All three have their wings stuck out to keep cool. I have an unconfirmed report of White being there earlier this afternoon. And the report about White is likely a false alarm. Please, if anyone is SURE you see White, please post. His white tape is on his right leg band, and should be easy to see. I'm not saying that anything is wrong, just that I've not seen four juvies at once for several days.

Spent a couple hours downtown last night. Found Niecey on the window sill around the corner from the nest ledge. Yellow was on the stick, and both girls on the balcony railing. At first I thought there were also two birds down in the balcony until I realized I was seeing a reflection in the window. Little Dad was on the steeple for a long time, snoozing off and on. Those juvies might be spending the night over at Strawberry Square, for it looked like that's where they headed around 8:30. Not having any good feelings about White, which is VERY upsetting.

Not sure which juvie is on the stick right now, but AM sure it's hot. It's 94 degrees here with a heat index of 104. Tomorrow is mercifully to be cooler, with temps in the middle 80s and less humidity.

There's a juvie with prey on the fat part of the stick right now. Thought I got a glimpse of red tape, but not completely sure. Also a falcon over on the U roof. And a beautiful falcon feather in the scrape. I noticed the other night that Niecey had a loose feather on her right wing while she was on the window sill, so perhaps it's hers.

The juvie on the "ledge" I'm 98% sure is White.

It was definitely Red with that prey. Little Dad came in to supervise from the shield. He stayed there until another juvie, probably Yellow, landed on the ledge.

I'm looking at your pictures with a magnifying glass, Nancy. I know Red was one of them, but not sure about the other one.

I'm waiting for the juvie that's at the end of the ledge to display his band!

Would not put money on it, but I am pretty sure a Juvie was just at Union Deposit and 83. I saw what looked like a Juvie (streaked Breast) chasing pigeons around the bridge.

Had a food drop to the juvie at the end of the ledge, cause he/she's mantling. If you look closely, you can see the adult or juvie (not sure when one) diving of the ledge. Kind of hard to see, but a falcon is on the corner of the university.

Wow, Valley Girl, that is interesting. I live right off Union Deposit Road. Will need to keep my eyes open. I have seen a pair of Red-tails hanging around the Point Shopping Center where Giant is. A couple nights ago on the way downtown, I thought I saw a juvie in Penbrook whipping around a flagpole. There was too much traffic and didn't have a chance to stop. Right now as I type this (a little before 8) there's a falcon over on the U roof.

I go past there Union Deposit Road bridge on 83 every day and see Red Tails regularly, but the wings and flight were more Peregrine than Hawk. If I had not been in 5 pm traffic, I'd have tried to get a better view. It drove me nuts the whole way home.

Yes, I often see Red-tails around Lowe's. Maybe I should drive over that way and take my bins. But don't want to be arrested for looking like a spy or something.

Missed seeing Little Dad, but Niecey was just in the scrape doing some housekeeping. Now she's up on the shield. Looks like some rain is headed our way.
