The bird who was on the stick flew to the point, and I believe this is Lil Dad:

By 12:41 p.m., Niecey had replaced Lil Dad on the point. There is a significant difference in size and color:

OMG!!! I was answering some overdue email and didn't have the cam on. No falcons in sight right now.

I am so mad at myself for not watching more this afternoon, but can't undo that now. Did anyone see a falcon chase another one off the stick? Not sure what time we might be looking at. And I may have that backwards. A chase from the stick to the point. How I wish I had been watching.

OMG, I wish 38 would find his own mate and territory! We'll be back to doing fledging watch on Father's Day at this rate! But very happy to see these pics of LD!

Jane, I'm not sure what you are referring to. When Lil Dad moved from the stick to the point, he was not being chased. I spent a lot of time watching today, and did not see another bird. Of course, while I was editing photos, and resurrecting the live stream, which kept freezing, who knows. I did not see any sign of agitation in either Lil Dad or Niecey.

Don't know if that helps.

Thanks, Alison. I read a post on Facebook that seemed to indicate one falcon chased another from either the stick or the point, and I am VERY confused. I wish I could park myself downtown for HOURS tomorrow, but that is not going to be possible. Hoping for the best with all of this. And for anyone who is watching tomorrow and sees anything significant, please try to mention the time. I don't know how to post pictures on here, and I am certainly grateful to those of you who do.

Jane, I don't normally read Facebook, but I went to the site to see what you were asking about.

Unfortunately the post made at 4:11 doesn't have a time stamp on it.

That post was mine, and I can give you the times. The first of the two pics was from 14:57:11 and the second was from 14:58:47.

I did post times for most of my pics today. If you need times for any others, I always have the original pics before I cropped and enhanced them to post.

How odd, I saw 38 in the scrape early in the day, but Alison your picture looks like 38 on the shield, and if the bird on the stick flew to the point is Lil' Dad, then were both males at the nest at the same time? Whatever the situation, I'm glad to see Lil' Dad still in the picture. He doesn't like the cold for sure, but where in the world does he go for short and long periods of time? Yes bev., that is clearly what he does .

I tuned in at 7:30 this morning to find Little Dad having breakfast on the point. It's 7:48, and he's still there.

Yes, that's Little Dad. Niecey had been over on the U Building, but she left a while ago.
