At 5:45 EDT, Niecey is standing in the doorway facing us again. I wonder if she was gone from view of cam, but remained in area ... flew off-site to go eat stash ... spent period of night where she normally stays @ night??? Don't know how long of period she was not in view of cams. I was not here when she re-appeared.

At 5:55 EDT she has moved to the point.

Am getting "COD" on cams 2-4 again. Will try another browser. Hoping someone without problems with cams will be in shortly.

At 6:28: She abruptly flew off the point toward the right and returned to the ledge behind the nest box. While on the point, her face never was in view as she kept looking toward the left and behind and rarely upwards and down. Just before she left the edge, she had looked directly above and you felt as if someone was around ... Lil Dad? When she arrived on the ledge near the big column behind the nest she was calling and looking out and down as if following Lil Dad (?) flying. She remains standing looking outward on the ledge near that big column. Hope it is Lil Dad out and about and not an intruder. At 6:40, I found her slipping into the nest through the back door. It was a little bit of a squeeze coming in that back door for her! :10val:

She is surveying and digging out the bole. Then is standing toward the front of the nest. And now back in doorway facing us @ 6:47. Now standing looking toward and facing the stick as I leave for awhile, but listening for them.

Toward the end of the 7:08 minute while I was @ another site, I thought I could hear calling from both of them and came in to see her running down the ledge, beaking it and then back to the stick beaking it and flew toward the university, but toward the right and out of view. It didn't seem as if she could have eaten that quickly and I could not see anything clutched in her talons, but the beaking was the after-meal type. Changed views to the point and I thought it was Lil Dad there and then he flew. Everything happened quickly. ( hope I got my id's right :10val:

) Now, nobody is on cam. At 7:18 I believe it was Niecey who returned to the top of the front shield. Then nobody is in view. At 7:28 I heard the fussy type call and find Niecey returning near the nest and then flew away. At 7:29, I can hear their fussy type calls and Niecey has returned to the top of the front shield and Lil Dad is on the point. At about 6:30 Niecey to the stick and calls continue and we have a mating! Dad flies away, only to return to the nest and she remains on the stick. Now a lot of bowing to each other from these same positions. Then calling.

Lil Dad flies away and returns and we have another mating! As I leave Lil Dad has returned immediately to the point and is preening and Niecey remains on the stick and now preening. Whew!!

At 7:50: Another mating! Niecey remains on the stick and Lil Dad returns to the point. Niecey continues to call @ intervals. :teehee:

At 8:01: Niecey to the top of front shield of nest and is preening. Lil Dad remains on the point. She goes inside the nest @ 8:04 and digs the bole and is now lying in it facing us on nest cam. Lil Dad remains on the point. At 8:08, Niecey stands, digs, and back down lying in the nest. Lil Dad is not in view on cams any longer. All is quiet for now. At 8:11 she is standing again. Digging! Back down facing toward front door and pebble-picking. Now facing front shield lying in nest. Pebble-picking. Out the front door, pebble-picking all the way up to the fat part of the stick, then hops onto the end of the stick and preening. She certainly has renewed energy this morning!! She's wearing me out trying to keep up with her!

Great blow by blow account, SWINWK. It was around 8:00 when I first the cams, as this computer was finishing some updates. Lil Dad was on the point then, and Niecey in the scrape, but she has since moved to the stick. It's rather windy here this morning and slightly below freezing. Need to change the time on here.

Jane! Lil Dad has returned to the nest while Niecey remains on the stick! Niecey calling some and Lil Dad is bowing from the nest. Niecey flies @ 8:36 and Lil Dad to the fat part of the stick to see where she went. It was downward and toward the university, but did not land within view. Lil Dad remains from that vantage point and preening. Then moves to the end of the stick and calls. Still no Niecey and Lil Dad continues preening as I leave @ 8:46.

At 8:50, Lil Dad calls and still no Niecey. At 9:01 Lil Dad calls again and still no Niecey. I have been using my computer times converted to EDT and forgot about cam clock, but will try to use in future as my clock is 50 seconds ahead of cam clock. Lil Dad calls again @ 9:04, but only echos as there is no Niecey yet ... as I leave, but continue to listen.

Lil Dad called and flew @ about 9:13 toward and above the university looking for Niecey I guess, then back to the stick. Still no Niecey!

Lil Dad continues to do single-note calls from the end of the stick, but Niecey has not returned @ 9:30.

At 9:40, Lil Dad to the nest (after calling from the stick) and begins to dig in the bole. Back to the fat part of the stick. He is looking around. Still no Niecey @ 9:46. Over an hour, since her departure.

It's 10:36 and Niecey has been gone for 2 hours now. Poor Lil Dad continues his stance on the fat part of the stick with his back to us. He is no longer making any single-note calls.

At 11:04 Niecey (I hope) flew to the top of the front shield calling and quickly flew away! At 11:08, still nobody returned and on cams.

At 11:43 Lil Dad returns to the top of the front shield calling and then to the nest and then out to the fat part of the stick. After seeing this I am having doubts that it was Niecey I saw last entry, but most likely Lil Dad. Not to worry, I can hear both now, but am experiencing "COD" and trying to get to see. Yep, there they both are @ 11:54!! He's in the nest and she is on top of the front shield. Seeing this now, I am sure that was not Niecey here from my entry 1 post ago. Sorry! It too, was Lil Dad. HRH has returned and Lil Dad is bowing from the nest! Thank Goodness!! :15heartbeat:

At 12:01 Niecey is lying in the nest and Lil Dad is on the point!
At 12:09 she stands and digs out the bole and back to lying position. He remains on the point.
12:20 She's been up, down, digging, pebble-picking, re-positioning and back to lying facing us in the nest.
