Little Dad is on egg duty right now, with Niecey up on the cam wire. Cold rain here today, with temps in the mid 30s. NOT a nice day.

So Lil' Dad came over to have a turn on the eggs, but she said 'nope'.
I then saw him on the cam.

Later in the day Lil' Dad was on the eggs and Niecey was on the stick. He stayed on the eggs a good while anyway. :loveheart2:

So checked in on our pair. First, I saw Niecey on the point and Lil' Dad in the nest. Somehow while having the cam open , I missed the switch because a few minutes later. Lil' Dad was on the point and Niecey on the eggs.

Little Dad was taking a break from egg duty to do a little preening on the stick. Niecey came in for the night shift a few minutes ago.

Glad things are going well here. I guess we won't have any new eagles in Hanover. It's past the time for the egg to hatch but they are still sitting on it. At least I can watch here for the eggs to hatch. :tissue:

I'm using to seeing cats and dogs scooting around, but this is a first time I've seen a falcon do it.

I remember seeing Niecey do that last year, Terka. I have no clue what it represents. And at the moment Little Dad is up on his camera perch while Niecey is on the eggs. The stick view cam is not working for me, but it was earlier this morning.

It looks like Niecey is in for the night. She looks pretty wet, and I guess she had some down time before coming in. Hope Little Dad has a dry place to go for the night.

Angélique and I can no longer access the website.
I assume this is because of the lock-down, with more people forced to work from home and the increased need for reliable internet for the essential services.

Not sure what you're referring to, DEF. Everything is working right now.

There are several nest cams that people outside the United States can't get.

Indeed, more and more US sites block access from outside the US. Started two years ago with the new, stricter, privacy rules for the EU member states.

For you it is working because you are in the US. :girlyes:
My guess is that they are limiting use of bandwith and power to ensure vital services won't get interrupted.
Netflix and Youtube have already done something like that; they now show video's in standard definition (480p).

Sorry you're having problems. Obviously nothing I can do about it. I didn't see it, but very early this morning a whole bunch of Crows were on the nest ledge. And someone who was downtown reported a whole bunch of them sitting on the balcony railing above the nest ledge. Fortunately all appears to be well. Niecey is incubating right now.

I have not been able to get Lansing . Was good up to March 4. I figured because I was not in USA.

Wow that must have been crazy with the crows on the ledge. I bet Niecey and Lil' Dad didn't like that.
