WOW, Carolyn...Last pic, bird on the perch is new. Both of the birds I was watching were banded..

Thanks Tsusan...we have, and its on the calendar...but has anybody seen a falcon? Everytime I check, which really isn't that often, I have yet to see a falcon after the egg was laid..Hopefully they are just out of cam view.

They were zooming this morning to see if there was a second egg..

Glad to finally catch a parent here...hard to get an egg count..should be able to get a better look once the sun shifts..

Just a quick update for the Alma Cam. The female is "R/63," back/green and is named "Power." Power was fledged in 2008 from the Nelson Dewey plant in Cassville, WI. Power was the resident female at Alma when they last nested on the stack in 2014. I don't know, but I am assuming she was also the resident female when they have nested on the bluff across from the Alma Site in 2015 and 2016. We do not have a band number on the male as of yet, but are working on it. The first egg was laid in the box this year on April 1 and am beginning to think that the birds may have abandoned the nest box and returned to the bluff, as the egg looks to have deteriorated over the last few days and I haven't witnessed much nesting activity. I will keep folks posted. Also, the Genoa nest box has three eggs as of yesterday. We hope to have that cam up and running by the end of this week/start of next week.

Thanks KF...that certainly explains why, other than the pics I got above, I haven't caught anybody at Alma!!

I'll have to go back and look at the earlier pics that were posted, because at one point, there were 3 different birds at Alma..

IF it makes you feel better, Genoa hasn't even gone live yet...I wonder if they turned off Alma cam or if its just not working..

Alma cam is back~at least for now..

1 egg, no falcons...so they've moved to back their 2016 nest? I hope its something as simple as that.
