 Thanks, Nancy-According to Facebook, there has been some off cam drama going on due to intruders coming in... The good news is that Ares and Astrid have driven them off each time. Utica has an enthusiastic ground crew watching...

Astrid is preening on the lip of the nestbox. The fellow who covers the falcons in Utica does a great job. He has a well done daily write up about Ares and Astrid every evening on facebook. |

 Utica has 4 lively hatches who keep their dad (Ares) and Mom (Astrid) very busy. Their Facebook page has a very entertaining writer, who really seems to enjoy his role describing the nest’s daily activities

  they have so many different views here, but when they are on this side of the nest, the cam that shows the view is not good. Oh well, they look great, and Mom is always nearby. |

| This nest has a very attentive, active group of falcon watchers. I’ll bet they are on high alert during fledge time.

| These guys are looking very ready to fledge...All four chicks still at home- two on each veranda...4:25 Ohio time... three on the west veranda and one on the east veranda...
