dad has come in with another prey item
Magic has not grabbed it yet and dad takes it out

probably trying to entice her to fly, but I just as soon she stay put. another 2 days

Her second trip up to that little ledge had me gasping as she didn't make it back to the box and fell to the perch below...Bev. posted those pics.

Dad's first food drop. I thought it interesting that she really didn't rush to grab it.

She's still out of view...hope she's still on the perch...I'll watch for a few more minutes..then off to bed...early work tomorrow..

Thanks for all of the pictures. I'm been checking in on her every now and then. Thanks goodness for Dad taking care of her. How sweet she is in the corner with her prey, and all the way behind the nest box.

i just saw magic slip off back cross piece.she was flapping and slipped , I let Dina know , so hopefully she gets message. she did not fly, sh e slipped. do not know what is back there

she went all th e way to back, and then adult female came to box and then to roof,
magic came back and went onto roof and the adult female went all way to back . MAgic followed. she flapped , wen t onto crossbar and I could not see her and then she fluttered off and down. so she slipped as you can see in video I posted.

sure hope DINA got message as weekend coming up . weekends are not good., fo r our birds.

darn, male has arrived with food and no magic . wish he had come earlier. . maybe he will find her, if sh e is not on ground. He is at box. so he does not know yet, she has gone .

fingers crossed here that someone is out there looking. wish I knew what was below bar

Thanks for the great coverage, Bev...and for the vid....I figured she would be gone by the time I got home on Friday...but never thought her big oops would occur from behind the box...YIKES....

I'll go check the FB page next...and see if anybody has found her. Sure hope she either flew successfully or that grate ledge thing goes all the way around to that side of the building..
