Thank you for the blogpost! I miss it! I have seen some male falcons like to set the eggs and the young. Devoted Daddys! Xavier appears to be trying to feed the eggs I saw a wild GHO try to feed the eggs when Mrs was gone. To the bird, those are his children - to us its only an egg. Its often hard not to anthrop |

At 7:04 to 7:06 am on 11/9/17 the eggs were uncovered and unattended for a few minutes. The parent on duty flew off and a few minutes a parent came to nest and got on eggs. I think it was Diamond both times but I'm not sure. Whoever it was spent a long time getting situated on eggs at 7:06. Oh it didn't post my pics. This site is confusing to me. I posted the pics on a hosting site like someone said to do and I pasted in the URLs as "image" but I guess that's not how you do it. Lol it's funny I can access the CSU blog but can't post pics while others can post pics but not access blog. Molly |

September 11, 2017 ( I'm not supersticious about 911 ... ) I had emailed CSU about FORBIDDEN. I just got her reply. I remember your posts and am sorry you can't get access. I had the same problem myself from my work computer, but it was okay from my laptop. It sounds like you may have been banned for some reason. I didn't mean that you did anything wrong. I was 'banned' as well. It seems that the website gets a glitch and certain computer address are 'banned'. I'm passing this on to our IT guru to see if he can help. Cilla Kinross |

I think the problems with the CSU blog are more severe than they realize. I usually get the "Forbidden" message as well. I use 4 computers, and I get the "Forbidden" message 100% of the time on 3 of computers and about 50% of the time on the 4th one. I've tried 3 different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE), allowed popups, etc, and I still get the message consistently. Molly |

Night light is in Published 9 September, 2017 | By Scott Banks The new infrared illuminator went in this afternoon. It was fairly straightfoward, although Diamond was put out with the disturbance. She came back after about 10 minutes though. The old illuminator had 12 LEDs but this new unit has 48 so we?re hoping it?s not going to be too bright. Darkness will tell, shortly now as I write. If it?s too bright we may be able to cover part of the illuminator to cut it down. Time will tell but this should give us overnight coverage again. http://www.gumtreecs.com.au/wordpress/n ... ght-is-in/ ---- Sept. 12, 2017 I got the blog - first time this year! The tech, Scott, said they will open to each person INDIVIDUALLY. There are quite a few who have been FORBIDDEN because they had trouble with hackers Some on RRP are blocked too. http://www.gumtreecs.com.au/wordpress Let me know if you can get it now. If not, I know how to get you in - send me a pm with your isp carrier ( ATT, comcast, whoever) and I will send to Scott, the CSU tech. Include your IP numbers My sending to Scott will let him know I trust you :) Otherwise I will send you the link he sent me and his email in pm These blogs offer privacy and I'd like to preserve that for everyone. |

poor Shepherd, worked so hard on the blog problem. Sorry Shep. I just checked the blog and nothing new since the Sept 9th note you posted. I'll keep checking it. Does anyone know the expected hatch dates here? Diamond is back and Xavier left egg duty around 10:50 or 55 am on 9.16.17. Molly |

My notes Sept. 16, 2017 Egg 1 - Aug 26 Oz time/date * Aug 25, 2017 USA Egg 2 - Aug 28 @ 3.33 pm Oz time/date Egg 3 - Aug 31 seen 6.45 am Oz time/date * Aug 30 @ 3.45 pm USA * I think this is correct, tell me if its not - at least its close! :D So the parents can hear / feel their young NOW. We should eggspect a pip about October 1 give or take sky will correct me - just watch. haha Hello sky ... hehehe Molly, if Oz posts again, please post here - thanks. There's little to report til end of Sept Seems falcons generally keep the nestbox clean til chicks hatch, so male wont bring her food yet. He likely has a stash for her in those trees |
