Sky alerted to a possible hatch and sure enough I just saw it raise it's head after Mom left the nest!!

Loza or Terka. I saw in chat @ 1505 your time, Gaja was seen removing a piece of eggshell with a possible bullet of white fluff still adhered to it and take it from the nest. Someone else said this may solve the mystery of the broken eggshell seen on the nest yesterday. Are they thinking egg #2 was an incomplete hatch and Gaja removed it from the nest today? (Bullet is the word that translates out to me ... wonder if this is actually "ball" of white fluff)

I can see the lay dates of the eggs 1-4 and corresponding hatch dates of same and #2 from 3/31/18 does not show a hatch day on the main page. I was amazed they could achieve this as deep in the nest the eggs were from our view. :egg19:

Feed in progress and I no longer see the remaining egg.

Alob on the Polish forum also saw how Mom was a shell with white down, but there is no dump

I do not know why egg # 2 is empty in hatching

Thanks , Loza and Terka! Terka, I thought that was what the person on chat was saying. And now today, I see they moved the hatch dates of #3 and #4 to #2 and #3 and #4 shows hatched egg on it's side instead of upright. :sorrow:
