cam has been off line since Friday at 6pm. hopefully back up by Monday.

wanted to post a few nice shots of N53. This is how I will remember her. she was born at the misrecordia, Edmontonin 2015 she died too young . our females seem to like it up that way.

although th e new male has not incubated , as yet, he has stood over them an d sits outside box. He has even rolled a bit .

egg 4 at 10:30pm. she did a poop shot

and then 4 tail lifts and voila

we had a visit down there tonight. Our new male, brought in prey but flew around with it for a good 15 minutes ( north and south. a real tease. after a bit Green girl came out and flew towards him and then flew back to right ledge below roof. . he almost lost the prey. He dropped it and quickly dove down to retrieve it. He placed it on R of centre and then flew out again. Green girl also flew off and soared up high. after a bit she came back to box . shortly after male landed and went in box and green came out.

all was well so we left. I will try and post pictures tomorrow.

Charlotte an d Bill have made several trips to box today. Charlotte has stayed long periods and sh eis sleeping n box right now.
fighting can reduce number of eggs, so we will see what happens.
She doe s look bottom heavy.

charlotte made a late night visit and they have been bonding this morning. wait and see. late is O.K..

although we are not 100 % certain ill, he is everything Bill was so has to be Bill. very good male. on eof those great ones ,

male did a bit of incubating yesterday but today he is fully into it. I think we see a difference, when some of eggs are theirs, than when they come in after all egg laid

Charlotte is spending many long periods in nest box. fingers crossed

our new young male has now taken full incubation duties. good job New guy . sometimes Green has to go in and coax him out now

fingers crossed that we will have eggs soon. If Bill had hi sway , he would lay the eggs. but charlotte is coming in and showing signs of trying.

our birds are very warm today and for nest few days. we went form winter to summer. missed spring. HOpe we will not regret it
