tim e is 20:10 -20:11 for hatch

this may well be Charlottes first hatch. If you remember they had to take eggs 2 years ago as she lost interest a week before hatch. Gord gave her a chick which she loved .

and last year she lost site to N53. so we do not know if she nested last year

she left right after hatch and Bill cam e in, so hopefully she does well. I think another egg is pipped

No problem, Bev...and I haven't even been home...glad I made it back for the hatch.

Dad still figuring things out..baby is all covered now...

I was asked to watch som e feeds today, and though at times it appears as if on ei snot getting enough, it all seems to work itself out at another feed.

they were all stuffed on last feed.
first feed of day, green had them all out of box . too early for this. :nervous:

she did not want to show us the youngest hatch. there have been 2 feeds since hatch but too hard to see if baby got. other 2 got good feeds. I am fine with 3 here. just saying

can see a bi t of pinkie

she plays with and eats shell

you can see youngest on shell

and then there were 3

A little while ago (from the DVR)

Dad comes in with prey and starts a feed

Not everyone is interested.

A couple of tug-o-wars

Dad decides to leave, with most of the prey in tow.

A few minutes later, Mom comes in..searches for left overs and locates the head of the prey dad brought. Chick steals head.

She gets it back and feeds a few morsels

Finding no more leftovers, she leaves...seconds later, Dad returns, WITH the prey, and starts a feed.

I didn't finish watching the feed..nor did I go back further in the DVR to see how many times they had already eaten..
