u of a june21 they all ate well on this feed at 8:35pm one feed is not enough i know but they all look good here. will watch a few tomorrow. I watch at least one feed at each site and sometimes 3 or more if it warrants.  one in middle is one I could not get crop in first picture  thanks Westend for alerting me. it takes a village |

I think there must be an adult with food around because babies are currently vocalizing up a storm!! Edit: Nope, they are now piled in a corner, looking like they may nap. Perhaps, they thought they saw a parent with food.....? |

U OF A JUNE22 do not know why kids are not being fed. Jean says there is lots of food and both parents are in sight. last night they were fed at 8:30p, sure hope they had quite a few feeds before cam went on. |

misericordia june23 hard to watch feeds here but they all seem to get fed. some mor e than others. Today she was giving pieces that were too large. So at times more out than in  but she is trying hard

Feed happening at UofA right now - Radisson has her back to the cam, so I can't see who is getting what, but feeding is definitely happening. |

bell june23 going very well. lots of feeds and mom and dad have been spending time on box june21 male bringing in prey.  june23 mom on lip of box and male on roof.  mom spent good part of night on right roof. |

that was dad ,SGB, thank you. it takes a village to keep up here we are very close to id him. He is a very good male, He has been outside handing off prey, brings prey to box, clears out prey left around . this is a good thing. A lot of males do this. It is instinct, not to leave prey in, when chicks are young. Up till this week, female would not let him feed( look at radisson  )but now he has been taking in fresh prey or picking up leftovers and topping up kids , if needed. Most times they have already been fed. Just as chase finds, when he is eager to feed and kids are full). If young are full ,he eats the rest himself, which is also normal. the adult male has to eat also. Some eat in box and some take it out, which I have been lucky enough to observe from the ground , over the years. Just think, when females feed, they eat also. Males have to keep up strength as well.this morning he topped up twice. so if one is still hungry and does not come forth or put up head,it is their loss. sometimes this top up saves a nest. so we were off to a rocky start here with the female as she is new and it is still tedious to watch, but all seem to be fed. |

Feeding just ended at U of A baby got the foot and the other 2 got everything else. |

thanks westend . it was a very small prey so something big will come in . the others are bigger , so he will get his fill on a big prey. He went to bed just stuffed last night |
