Tonight at the Two Harbors nest 81 laid her first egg at roughly 8pm and the first egg roll occurred at 848 Nest Coast time

I have a theory about what may have caused Mom to skitter off the nest last night shortly after laying the egg. The egg was visible right before she flew/ran off the nest, then when she went back, it was not visible. My theory is that she laid the egg on the lip of the cup (visible) and it eventually rolled down into the cup which startled her, causing her to fly forward. That's also why we couldn't see it (deep cup) until they rolled it. So, that's my theory. :lol:
