Susan your pictures are wonderful. The close up of Derek and Savannah is great and I love the caption "I AM smiling...." Great pics of the Golden and Aragorn. The Golden sure is handsome. The enclosure is pretty impressive. I appreciate the photos. Thank you so much

The new nest i have found is named after the The bird lady of Iowa Gladys Black

She was an amazing lady I remember reading about her some time ago.
Black died peacefully in her home on July 19, 1998 at the age of 89. In July 2004, INHF
and other partners dedicated the Gladys Black Bald Eagle Refuge, located at a Marion County site where Gladys had done birding.

more here some interesting reading if you have a little bit of time

We had this for a couple yrs. BUT it was a view like from the ground and you could barely see eagles til they were sitting up straight and the eaglet were half grown before you saw them. I got an email from Dale at the end of the season saying he was trying for a better view and YIPEE he got it
He saaiid he was going to get it up but I didn't think it would be so soon,
Thank you so much for finding it Mick

Well this isn't sounding good at all about the Mass. nest I sure hope things work out Dale has put so much time and money not to mention his love for this pair
Hello viewers of the Lunenburg Eagle Cam. As of today December 7, 2011 the cam has been shut down. There has been a change of ownership of the property to where the eagle nest located. MassWildlife and myself were not aware of this until over the weekend and at which time it seemed to be a non-issue. Since the cam was installed on Monday, some liability issues have been brought forth by the Home Owners Association (new owners). We are hopeful we can work out something with the current owners.

This is all the information I can give out at this time.

Sincerely,

Dale J. Martin

For folks have questions please feel free to email me at dale@massapoag.org

Thanks kitten. Like a shooting star; first it's there, then it's not.

I just checked the cam before I got to the bottom of this page. How sad for him that he should go to all that work only to lose it.
