Davenport Alcoa:

Nest Location:
In 2009 a pair of bald eagles joined the Alcoa Davenport community in Iowa where they built their 7-foot nest on the 400-acre facility. Local employees named the two eagles Liberty and Justice. In 2010 they fledged two eaglets from this nest. In 2011 they fledged one eaglet, a female who was named Freedom.

Liberty (female)
Justice (male)

I saw that last night that it was so windy I kept thinking that the nest is really packed in there the tree
was moving back and forth so much I was getting seasick on take off all the eagle had to do is lift its wings and the wind took it away

LOL, KF! That is a pretty deep bowl. When the first egg was laid at the Sequoyah nest the bowl was so deep that the parents could barely see out over the crib rails when they were brooding!

If I were an egg, I would want to be way down in a deep, comfy, warm bowl.

An evening visit, checking the nest for suitability to receive eggs:

Justice (the male) lands first, followed quickly by Liberty (the female). Notice the marked difference in size: Liberty is larger. She also has a pronounced arch (looks almost like a raised eyebrow) on the bony ridge just above her eye, whereas the bony ridge above Justice's eye is straighter across.

Thank you for the identifying differences elfruler. The bowl looks plush and deep.

The video is much appreciated-thank you.
