Update from May 17th. :) :)

Quote:
It looks like we will have access to the lift to be able to reach the Osprey Cam sometime next week. We needed to wait until this special piece of equipment arrived so that we can get up high enough to reach the cam. Currently the adult birds are back on the nest and should be incubating eggs soon. Last year we first started to see the chicks in early July.

Webcam Update for Tuesday, May 25
A big thanks to Ron and Scott for getting up in the lift and realigning
the Osprey Webcam. We have moved it to the other side of the beam it
was on last year to see if there is less wind disturbance. We now have all
eight webcams in operation at the same time...wohooo!
That is a situation that hasn't happened in many many months. :-)
Bill Hayden
The birds are back. The Osprey have been back for several weeks now,
and they appear to be tending eggs in the nest. Last year the chicks were
visible around July 1 so we should have a few more weeks to go before
we know if the nest has been successful this summer.
Thanks to Glacier Electric for placing the pole here for the osprey.
The pole allowed them to nest safely without building on the power
transformers on a nearby power pole.

The camera seems to be stuck at 8 am so I don't
know if this is melted or any birds have been there or what,
but it doesn't look good anyway you see it

Wow, what a beautiful setting for an osprey nest!

Thanks Patti...

Update on the webcam site...

*Webcam Update for Monday, June 14
We've had a report of young in the Osprey nest. There may be as many as three. Keep an eye on them for us.

:-)

I'm not sure if one was down in the nest in the first pic, but a fledgling landed in the second. All three on the nest with an adult
