Ferenz, thanks for the update and pics :sunsmile:

I saw the cam was down yesterday :suntalk:

I started recording the cam at 10:00 am EDT, the male delivered a fish at about 1:50 pm EDT.

Looked like C3 got a couple of bites, but not much. C3 looks very weak, but only a day old, hopefully stronger tomorrow, hatching is hard work :smile:

Always feel free to share any pics I post with other forums...all about the ospreys for me :loveshow:

Feeding, 2:00 pm EDT, today. And a wing shot, just for the beauty :rainbow

C3 looks very, very weak, if even alive.

FERENZ These are some of my pics 6/16 & 6/17. The Finland time/date stamps are on the pics. I thought C2 was dead in the first pic, but then moved. In the end, both dead on the nest. :cryinggirl:

O Dear I watched only one pic this morning and didn't realized the tragedy...they must have died late evening or during the night :sunmad:

Then saw the pics in the archive from yesterday:
The chicks aparently didn't got any feed the whole day long and the male didn't appeared.
They were often alone for hours while mom was out for hunting. So sad they are gone and the cam is frozen.

But, thanks for posting, the two adults, very good to see them both alive. Having the nest fail is tragic, but losing an adult is worse, so few Ospreys survive to breeding age.

I am in unison with PattiO...I checked in on the nest yesterday and noticed the chicks were in the same position and not moving. Just looked in right now and there are no chicks in the nest! :cryinggirl:

Could someone find out what happened to the chicks? Such a sad sight but I am glad that both adults are okay. There was a nest failure (no hatching) at the Loch of the Lowes :cryinggirl:
