She's having a hard time with incubation, the male hasn't been much help. She has been....more mantling the egg...or maybe a better description, brooding the egg. There's still an intruder trying to land on the nest...stress.

The one time, about 3:30 pm (2/28) the male came to the nest to "take care" of the egg and give the female a break...to go fish for herself....no fish delivery all day, he left the nest to chase the intruder...the nest was empty for about a 1/2 hour until the female returned. Hard to believe the female could catch a fish and eat it in 45 min.??

He came in twice this morning with a fish. Both times she tried to get it from him, but he would't let go and took off with it. Very strange :gaah:

Two eggs...Barb emailed me saying she thought there may be two...she didn't give a time...and I was out. I watched, and saw her roll both...I thought what looked like a second egg could have been nesting material...but she rolled them. She's having a hard time keeping both under her, one is next to her wing now, the other under her.

It appears to be quite windy there...I think this is the male...not sure..

He left...and either he returned or this is the Mrs...did a little housekeeping..

The wind caught her (or him)
