Looks like there is a bad storm moving through Florida. EST now is 415pm--the course looks like there are mini lakes and rivers covering it. The nest is a bit disheveled (probably from the high winds).

Poor osprey! You can only see her little head as she checks out what is going on. I hope her mate is doing okay, too.

Really bad storm hit Florida. http://www.tampabay.com/specials/2011/p ... rch_storm/

One of the photos show an osprey nest in trouble. Right now it is 9am (EST) and I can't get onto the Dunedin webcam this morning. I hope all is well at the nest site....

It is 3a (HST) and I'm heading off to bed. :offtobed:

All is well..the cam came back on line today. The first egg is 36 days old today...so if viable and it could be...the count down begins :thud The adults look like they're doing a good job

Kitten, you are not alone.. Barb Walker is doing her best, this cam is a lost cause....when the the cam does open, it shuts down within 2 min. I don't have the time...waiting for the year end wrap up. If anything changes, RE: cam, I'll post. For now, I just check the "nesting notes"

:egg5: I am so happy to see they hatched! I guess that other osprey was curious about what was going on over there. I was really surprised to see the video. Thanks for putting that together.

A viewer wrote and said she thinks one of the osprey chicks fell out of the nest. Are there any video captures available?
