I think they might have been banded on the 12th the cam was down for aa couple hours all the other cams were fine I still haven't been able to get a look at the legs tho

he never mentioned the sex of the owletts, however in one photo it refers to an owl as "she", are they both females? Anyone know?

There was a story on the news the night before last that I only caught the end of, but I saw 2 adorable GHO owlets that look just like these, so I had to pay attention. In the town of Dillsburg, which is about 15 miles from where I live, something happened to these owlets' nest & they fell from the tree. One was fine, but the other had a wing injury, so they were going to take it to a rehabber. If I'd known they were there, I would have driven down to see them! I also tried to find the story on the TV station's website & the newspaper, but didn't find anything...

Just catching up on Greg's report. So he did sneak up and band them. So interesting to hear about the interaction with the falcons. I'm so glad everything is working out there. Boy are these little one cute!! :cloudnine:
