Kittenface, LOVE the pic you got of the mr and mrs bonding on top of the nestbox! They are sooo adorable. Look who I found preening herself XMAS night around midnight est at the NestkastLIVE box. Hope you like it :santashy:

Well, it looks like all our bnows are hundered down XMAS nite. Here is our adorable Pro Riet couple in Switzerland, hiding out in nistkasten 1.

12/26 (am) Broxton -Box 2-

Sweet Kestrel in box 2 @ Pro-Riet

Beth, so glad to see a face shot of the swiss kestrel. Have not seen anyone get one for 2 yrs now! Good job! Also, I looked at the nestkastLIVE blog for dec.24th. They copyright the text, so I could not just paste into google translator, but had to open another window and type everything in, YUK. But basically, they said that they were quite pleased to see that after they were hunting on the 24th, 5 hrs later expelled pellets. They said that there was so much deep snow right now, they were afraid the barn owls would not be able to find any food. They thought that perhaps the owls found a barn door open somewhere, where the prey was smart enought to hide in, away from the snow, and they owls were able to get them there. :banasan:

Our beloved barn owls are sooooo smart, beauty AND brains!! :snowmancarrot:

I so hoping this isn't some idiot prank and its something from the Pro Riet people and it won't be there to long It wasn't there in the early morning hours OwlLuvr at Italy nest emailed them to see if they know whats going on.
What I think is really wierd is the N and backwards S above the doors
