Glad you saw her! I didn't have any luck catching glimpse of the pair yesterday.

I've been out of touch for quite a while. Haven't seen a falcon on the cam in ages. We are having our first snowfall of the season today - possibly three inches. It's a very wet snow. I am hoping to be able to make a spin downtown tomorrow afternoon.

Comparing to other photos, it does look like a falcon.

Looks like winter weather at DEP. Hope Mom/Dad have found a warm spot (louvre condo)!

SGB, Your capture of Mom really made my morning. And Joanne, your earlier post looks like a Starling on the scrape shield. Almost like room service up there!

Wonderful to see Mom back on perch! thanks to all for posting those screen grabs. I wonder if that little birdie prompted Mom to get back to the scrape! Poor little thing, must be pretty chilly way up there.

Made a spin downtown late this afternoon, and saw NO FALCONS at all. Very disappointing. The Crows were all over the place, down along Cameron Street, then flew over toward Front Street, many of which settled on the trees along the Susquehanna. I was getting pretty numb up on the garage roof, so went over to the Amtrak Station to warm up and use the potty. By the time I came out of there it was quite dark, and could still see the Crows overhead. Made one last look at the louver ledges behind 333 Market, but didn't see any falcons there, although earlier a Pigeon was back there. Knowing me, I'll be down there again hopefully, when it's a little warmer.

Thanks for your report, Jane! So sorry you weren't able to see either of our pair... We haven't seen Mom or Lil Dad on the ledge much either, but I seem to remember that last year during the Winter, Lil Dad spent a lot of time on the point. Maybe they'll reposition the cam so we can see the point (of course, then we won't be able to see his cam perch, but he isn't really using it right now anyway).

I HEARD BEFORE THAT IN THE COLDER MONTHS, MOM AND LIL DAD GO TO THE LOUVERS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BUILDING WHERE THE WARMER AIR COMES OUT. MAYBE THAT'S WHERE THEY WERE? I'VE NEVER LOOKED FOR THOSE LOUVERS BEFORE. I THINK THOSE CROWS BOTHER MOM AND LIL DAD TOO SINCE THEY STOPPED THE EARLY MORNING LEDGE VISITS WHEN I STARTED SEEING THE CROWS IN THE TREES ACROSS THE STREET.
