After reading Kittenface's previous message, I checked on the Columbus web cam, and FINALLY saw Scout down at the end of the ledge. It looks like she or someone may have been in the scrape at some point, for the pebbles look like they've been moved around a bit.

Jane you are right...it does look like someone has been in the box...

I've had the cam open...and I'm trying to decide if some one is stil there...not sure...

Well, I saw her fly off about 20 minutes ago, and then closed the web site. When she left, she looked like she was headed down.

You're so right...I went back and checked my video...and saw her go...guess it was just wishful thinking on my part...

yes...but not the audio....she came in kakking and low....I kept expecting her to be followed by another falcon....uploading pics now...will process the video later...then you can see her behavior..

I could kick myself for having the recording audio off...she was REALLY kakking!!!

Great pictures, SGB! Just checked the Columbus web site, and found nobody on the ledge. However, it sure looks like a falcon feather in the scrape on the left side.

Video from this afternoon...I could kick myself for not having the Audio recording on....she was kakking away!!! I thought for sure another falcon was up there...or she had had some sort of "encounter" before she got to the ledge...
