Thanks for the Mulheim pics, ljames! I didn't know that this cam refreshed--I thought it was one shot per day! The pic from last week with the juvie & adult there was up for 2 days!

Not sure if you have this link. The website has a video showing a terrible falcon fight, but don't know the story to it.

Thanks for the link, ljames! That fight is the one that a pic showed up on the cam. We were hoping that both birds are OK. One is a juvie--maybe from another nest, but it is banded.

I forgot to post this. Hope it's the right spot. Anyway, not Webby, but that peregrine falcon we have seen in the past I guess.

You know what crossed my mind for a moment? Could this be Hope or Faith . . . the two kids of Pa and Ma De Mortel from 2007 ? Would like to think so . . . . . .
It seems, a lot of the young falcons born in the Netherlands go Eastward, Germany, Poland, so who knows ?

And vice versa! Many German falcons cross the border to neighbouring countries in all directions. 20 years ago the populations in Northern Europe were nearly extinct, a small rest in Southern Germany slowly spread to Switzerland, France, Poland and perhaps to Netherlands.
Seasons greetings from cold Heidelberg with first snowflakes! PERKEO can already be watched every day perching on top of Holy-Spirit-Cathedral`s steeple...
