Oct 29, 2009 - 3 little birds outside my doorstep...

The past few days there's a recurring activity taking place at the south side of the complex.
There are 3 falcons in the area, difficult to be sure but it seems there are two adults and one juvenile.
Squawking seems to happen around the time that food shows up at a ledge.

Update from Mathew - 2 Spotted

Fred sent me an email with some pics! Seems two adults were spotted today near the nest ledge.
I'm assuming that the falcon with 2 bands is Jack, he does appear to be.

Pictures of Jack and Mom ...

Carly & Mathew  What are we going to do with him.
He needs to pick before 2010 nesting season!

Thanks for the update and photos, Mathew, and to Beth for alerting us to them.

Oh my, that Jack. I hope he is just being a good "friend" to Mom and helping her out until Dad comes back.

Latest News from Mathew...

Dec 24, 2009 - Merry Christmas!!

Mom was spotted today, and other than that I just wanted to wish all our falcon followers a Merry Christmas, and a happy new year!

It should be interesting to see what transpires in 2010, hopefully our male makes it back to the area upon his release in the spring.
Any details will be shared as they emerge.

Cheers!
Mathew
