Lil Dad needs to start showing up on time so as not to get us worried. :roll:

Good Grief!! I was really getting worried reading the posts today. So glad he showed up. I wonder what that senario was all about??? It's a bit early for him to leave. Boy, I hope she stays if he does. Anyone remember when Mom first showed up, and if the male left for a while? The latter days she always stayed. She never left did she?

SORRY TO HAVE WORRIED YOU, YOU KNOW US, THE WORRY WARTS :lol:

I DON'T THINK MOM EVER LEFT SINCE SHE HAD TO STAY AROUND AND MAKE SURE SOMEONE DOESN'T TAKE OVER HER NEST SITE. LIL DAD MUST HAVE LEFT IN THE BEGINNING YEARS, BUT EXCEPT FOR LAST YEAR, WE ALWAYS SAW HIM AROUND THE ENTIRE YEAR. NOT SURE WHAT DETERMINES WHETHER HE LEAVES OR NOT. I THOUGHT HE WOULD STAY THIS YEAR TOO SINCE HE HAS A NEW MATE. ONLY TIME WILL TELL!

Got up & saw frost on my car through the front window this morning. Expected to see dead impatiens when I looked out the side window but they're still OK. :smile:
