I'm sorry it took me so long to catch up here! Reenie, your pictures and reports are invaluable. I was also intrested in the conversation about the Aplomado Falcon. Noble and I lived in Alpine, Tx for a few years, and during that time the Sr. Citizen group chartered Far Flung Adventures one October to take a raft trip through Santa Elena Canyon (Rio Grande in Big Bend Nat'l Park). The raft guys rowed, the river wasn't high, and we got through in one day, with picnic lunch on a sand bar. It was a wonderful experience, the canyon is spectacular, and we got to see an Aplomado Falcon in the wild! One also strayed into our back yard area in Alpine and gave me another rare look at one. During nesting season in the Big Bend, the canyons are closed to rafting and other activities, so the falcons are not disturbed. As to the I-Phone Ap, my brother in Winnipeg has one with that ap in it. He had an elusive bird in his spruce tree, and in checking out his phone ap,, which evidently has sound as well, the bird was lured closer and sang back to the phone! I forget which kind of sparrow Karl said it was, but his new I-phone paid for itself right there! I can't afford the monthly fee to operate such a thing, but that would be a worthwhile ap to have!

normangelo, sounds like a wonderful rafting trip you had. That would be nice to sit back and enjoy nature while somebody else does all the work. And that little bird attracted to the i-phone, too funny . I was going to get one of those a couple of years ago, but seems like the service provider wasnt the one I used, maybe will look into it again.

Somebody is on the stick now, but I am frustrated with my refresh. My picture will show nothing or be on the other cam, when I scroll down through Paul's page only to see somebody. I look to the cam (I keep open all the time) and not there, then I manually refresh, and yep, somebody there. :-?

LIL DAD IS AROUND THE CORNER ON THE WINDOWSILL AND THAT'S NG ON THE CAM, NO WONDER IT WAS BOUNCING, SHE'S SO BIG! SHE WAS FLYING AROUND AT THE BACK OF OUR BUILDING A WHILE AGO WHEN I WAS IN A MEETING IN AN OFFICE WITH LARGE WINDOWS. Norma, your trip sounded so wonderful.
Reenie, seeing NG though that window would take my mind right off of any meeting. Thanks everyone for all the pictures and stories today. The weather is mild today, but our birds are eating like there's no tomorrow.
