I saw the wings all stuck out too George, and thought, oh my they sure look cold this morning.
I wouldn't worry about those birds too much. They all come running to drink whenever I clean my front porch too. (I use dish detergent) They drink bubbles and all and I have never seen a dead bird. I would fret like crazy over it to start with. :-?

Cricket, I am glad that you were able to be there for your sister. I pray that her condition will improve.

NG WAS HANGING OUT ON THE SCRAPE SHIELD A BIT AGO. NOW I SEE SOMEONE BY THE STICK ON THE LEDGE, I GUESS THAT'S STILL HER UNLESS LIL DAD CAME IN AND SHE LEFT. BOY, SHE REALLY CHECKS THINGS OUT ALL AROUND HER WHILE SITTING THERE. I NOTICED TODAY, SHE LOOKED DARKER AGAIN THAN THE PICS I GOT YESTERDAY, MUST BE THE LIGHTING.

I just know that god waited for you to get there before you sister had to go to the hospital he knew you 2 needed to be with each other at this critical time in your lives.

Maybe she is only a little over a year old. Maybe that accounts for her unique coloring and markings. Not to mention the window behavior. Between not understanding the reflection of herself in the glass and the way she likes to perch on the edges really does lead me to think that she is from a wilder nesting area rather than an urban nesting area.

Catching up here after being out all day. I've said before that I wonder if NG is from a cliff nest or perhaps a bridge where there were no windows.
