Thanks for the heads up, Bev....I just checked the blog and here's the 8 PM update:

8PM update. Fred noticed from a photo that the first fledgling had yellow tape, so that's Pinto, band #P56. He has not been located and the game plan is to wait for him to show up at the ledge...

Let's hope he's spotted Soon!!!

One went in a tree last year also and by morning he was somewhere else. I believe someone scared him into flying to tree last year.

I hope they look for him instead of waiting for hm to come to ledge.

Hopefully little Pinto is not injured and can call out when he gets hungry, alerting Mom as well as the watchers.

landings are always tough. that is why I pray for calmer days. Jack needs a Blackberry so he can keep up to : date. :grin:

Mathew's Update:

6PM: Pinto is flying amazingly well. Maurice needs to build his confidence but has taken a few short flights and has done alright. At the current time both juvies are on the roof north of the nest taking it easy. Hopefully the gang makes it back to the nest ledge this evening, we'll see.

Mathew's Update: Jul 13, 2010 - Jack spotted!

Just a quick update, Jack has been spotted this morning at his Bloor-Islington nest. I've also seen our two juvies around the building here, so all seems fine.

I remeber last year when the adult male was hurt and we all monitored this site to make sure the kids were being fed and then monitored the fledging.

Its amazing things worked out well at both nests this year...in spite of Jack's less than father-like behavior. Go moms!
