the picture I have posted earlier is that egg and you can see the white fluff, through the crack. Hopefully I am right. I am sure it made it through

here is another picture
I keep forgetting not to process while cam is up. Everything froze on me

Thanks Bev. What a relief to know that the chick made it out of the problem shell.

And congratulations to Montreal on hatch #3!

That does look like the egg with the eggshell over it. Oh I hope so. I'm trying to tell whats going on by looking at the stills on Paul's page.

I have to go and check out Weber building but I will check back here when I get home. It would have to be dark when this was happening.

This is the link to Paul's page. It shows many nests, but you have to refresh.

Ljames & SGB, you got some great pics of the adorable babies--thanks!

Bev, nice catch of that hatching egg. I'm sure we'll all be relieved if it does hatch!

I just brought the cam back up & Spirit is rolling around a piece of shell! Either there has been another hatch or the shell came off that egg!

Image

I just looked again & she has pulled that shell out from under her & is eating it!

Oh good, then it did hatch. I thought it did, but we will wait till Wizzz officially announces it.

That was a nice catch of that hatching egg, Bev, & it was the one with shell around it so I'm sure all of us are relieved!

Catwoman, I really hope you were right for hatching of the egg with shell on it, it really seems to on the pics :spingirl:
Ljames, thanks for the link to Paul's page. I'll be using it.

There was just a changing of the guard, but I still couldn't tell whether there are 2 or 3 chicks! Probably can tell at the next feeding...
