That is great news Carly! Its so much fun knowing that some continue to be spotted, when usually we don't know where they end up.

I am very sorry to read this CArly. I think those of us that can follow these from the ground, really can see how vulnerable these young guys are to the Urban settings.

I know that I check constantly ,with heart in my hand. I also know that once they leave my area they have many other hurdles to cross.
That is why when one turns up a year later, even if it means it may dethrone a favorite, I am glad they survived.

Just catching up here as well...and Oh Carly...such very sad news...it is such a very rough life for these precious creatures....It certainly does make me appreciate and marvel in the adults we watch on the cams...they have survived everything that man and nature have thrown at them to get to where they are today...such a testiment to their strength!!!

I am behind here, and just now read about Blackberry. :cryinggirl: Carly, I'm so sad for you. It is hard enough when we hear of the loss of a juvie, but a thousand times harder when it is one we've personally bonded with. Hugs to you.

An Etobicoke update on the Canadian Peregrine Foundation site today:

Late Autumn Update

Both our adult peregrines are still here too! In October Jack was onsite for several hours a day spending time with Angel. It was almost like the old days when he only had her as his mate. But alas in November he’s been dividing his time between sites I assume as he is only here sporadically now. I do sometimes hear them chupping to each other in the mornings before he flies off in the direction of his other site .

A few weeks ago when we had some Spring like weather, I did witness them go off flying together towards the lake. The past few weeks Angel has settled into her usual routine of hunting off the towers in the early morning and dozing on her perch and keeping warm the rest of the day.

You're absolutely right, carly, about Jack being a super tiercel. He really did a great job providing for his "families" last season. It will undoubtedly be a tense spring next year.
