I am so excited about Wind (if it is her) having an egg. she holds a soft spot for me, like Miss Edmonotn. both these ladies have had their share of bad luck. :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:

I would wish for a better site for Quest.

Nee d to start [putting up nest boxes in more areas that are good places for falcons to nest. Put them up and they will find them.

but do not think all the females evicted lose their lives. look at Wind at Mt Sinai. she was evicted by Rhea Mea an now she has a site again.

and I just read recently that they think Windwhistler is at Mt. Sinai also

I don't understand how eggs just disappear. Really weird, isn't it?

OH my...not again...I really do hope they get a monitor on this nest....Is it possible that crows/ravens raided this nest? I mean, how many times have we seen jackdaws wipe out a kestrel nest in Europe...and where was that eagles nest this year where a crow took the first egg...

Red Deer...both there...I'm guessing the female is on the left...she was funny...just walked around the nest box with this "love tidbit" in her mouth...I guess he brought it, not sure...never saw her eat it...

they have bars on this nest box to keep the ravens and owls out. Peter and I will have a look at it long weekend in May and take some pcitures for you all to see. We are headed to the mountains that weekend and have to pass through there
