Yes...brother and sister.. :shock Now I hate to say this, but I hope the resident pair are enjoying a new nest elsewhere...After all of this, I certainly don't want to have to try and ID ANYBODY ELSE!!!

I love a good mystery story :hmmmm and more so when it is solved ! :shamrock5:
Both from the same nest, but is it certain that both the parents are the same ? ? ? I'm not familiar enough with the Lincoln nest history.
If they are full brother and sister it may well turn out like in Helsingborg for years, no eggs, no chicks. But they could make a great foster pair . . . .

I'm pretty sure they have the same parents...I sure am hoping it doesn't go the way of Helsingborg...time will tell.

Gee, I didn't even think of that, DEF. Hopefully, that won't be the case...

Yes, both parents are the same. I have been watching this nest since the cam first came online. The resident female at this nest is, and has been, Alley, born in 2004, a daughter of Princess and Trey from the Radisson nest in Winnipeg.

Her mate is, and has been, 19/K, born in 2001 in Des Moines, Iowa.

They are fairly easy to tell apart; Alley has a pronounced malar stripe, and she is larger and taller than 19/K. 19/K has a solid dark hood.
