Names in order of Fledge

    Amelia
    Charlie
    Sally
    Bobby

I'm pretty sure that Amelia, Charlie, and bobby were caught and banded...I'm not quite sure about Sally....I'm just so glad that little Bobby landed safely after his big goof!!!

Yes, all are banded. Sally had just flown off the top of the world relief map into the trees. They were holding her while Bob was trying to watch #4 to keep it from going in to the street. After he was sure that it had settled away from traffic he headed over with a box to pick up #3, Sally, and while he was doing that, #4 Bobby decided to jump off ledge into garden. So he made the decision to put Sally in an office (in the box) while he banded Bobby. I left downtown so I am not real sure if both birds were actually put back up on the Beehive at the same time, but that would be the intention. Now is pouring rain so not sure what's up. Trying to find someone down there with a phone so I can get an update. (I had to come home, hubby getting a bit annoyed with me being goine 13 hrs yesterday and up at 5am today :suntalk:

I can't believe that you got all the fledges SGB. My heart stopped when I saw the baby fall out.

Thanks for the reports from the ground too. I love it when we know what happened next. :cheer

Great names too.

Thank God the baby is OK! That would have been scary to see! At least when I watched the video, I knew she had landed safely. Great job SGB & Liz!

Too bad about hubby, Liz. Its a shame you have to be torn between 2 important things like this.
:suncrazy:

Wow! Great videos and teamwork today!!! I'm not sure how old that baby is, but not old enough for fledging. That was an incredible video catch sgb. Looked just like the one in the Netherlands. Liz, you are an incredibly dedicated fledge watcher...thanks for hanging in there so long. You must be exhausted now. :bravo :bravo

Ha! Lizzy, you just have to get him out there with you a couple of times! After that, resistance is futile. He will be assimilated!

I am headed down there this morning. I plead my case with hubby so I will at least be able to go for 4 or 5 hours a day. :sunno:

Kittenface, I will work on getting the tag numbers for you.

Yes, but I am totally addicted. Poor Bob, he is down there from 5:30am to 9:00 pm for two weeks straight. And then he may cut back by two hours just so his wife doesn't divorce him.

Hi Liz....I sure do hope when you get there you are able to spot all the kids and they are doing great...I didn't expect the first fledge of the morning either....

Just checked your blog...great pics of Charlie in the flowers...oh..and I've got the cam open and can clearly hear one of the kids coming from somewhere...

Good luck!!!
