I agree with Faith that Red Girl is the one closer to the camera. If she were the one standing in the scrape she would look larger than the one in th picture (CJ).

Another way you can tell who is who, CJ never hangs out for very long! He goes in there, does his duty, and then takes off! Although I don't think he went very far because she was talking to him for a while after he left so he may have just been on the ledge.

That sounds SO adorable Kim. I love the way they talk! The Blue Jay's really communicate here. Watching the Mother Cardinal teaching "Baby" how to eat Cherry Tomatoes, yesterday!!! Just wonderful!

A Flicker was here, and I said , "drop me a feather, Mr Flicker". Do you know when I went out later, there was a flicker feather on the ground under the feeder. Very different from my other feathers. All white, with a black band on one side three quarters to the top. Just unbelievable!!

So do you think that will work with the falcons? Drop me a feather Mrs. Falcon? :)

Kim, I do hope so! They are such beautiful feathers! I am getting quite a collection from the back yard. I check everyday! Almost hate to go out though. The mosquitoes are terrible. Between talking to the birds and looking intently on the ground, I'm sure to be taken away some day! LOL

I haven't seen anyone recently but I keep forgetting to refresh the website. Does anyone else have the issue where if you don't refresh the page every so often, the webcam gets stuck on the same time?

Can't remember the last time I was on the web site long enough to hit refresh! On one of our local newscasts tonight they were showing pictures of the flooded Susquehanna as taken from a helicopter. At one point they flew over the 462 bridge in Wrightsville. Water looked like it was almost halfway up those pretty arches. Also could pick out the John Wright Restaurant where only a few weeks ago Reenie and I enjoyed a nice dinner on their outdoor patio. I would suspect that place will suffer major flood damage unfortunately.

Saw a report from Wrightsville on the news a bit ago. The gal was reporting from the parking area near the John Wright Restaurant, and it appears that place might be OK. The river is surrounding these huge stone supports from the remains of an old bridge, and is next to the 462 bridge. About halfway across is where the falcons nest, and they use what is called a perch tree at one of those big stone supports. Hope the perch tree is still there when the water goes down.

I'm not sure, but I think this was CJ working on the scrape this morning.

Ditto from Me too. I never get to see anyone, but again the time of day is important too. More rain and storms on this 9/11 day!

That bowl is down to the bottom of the nest box? How many inches of gravel is in there? No one there right now.

Again on this 13th day of Sept., and later in the morning, 7:40 A.M. no one there. But a beautiful day weather wise. A good day for flying high!
