Thanks catwoman for answering that question about Zurich. I am so behind on the forum. I didn't even realize that Reenie is having surgery? I am wishing you all the best Reenie and that it will be easy with quick recovery time.

Nice pictures of the both of them on the ledge. Catwoman, what do you mean that you had trick or treaters? :crazygirl:

I am still getting eggplant and butterbeans from my garden, but 35 on Saturday so that will probably be the end of that.

I live in an area where most municipalities have their trick or treat night on the Thursday before Halloween. I guess the idea is that that allows the adults to go out & party on Halloween instead of taking their munchkins around. :hall6:

(BTW, my older cat, Hope, (a tuxedo cat) stole the show during Trick or Treat. She stayed by my husband at the door the whole time, & many of the kids were more excited to see her than they were about getting treats!)

Glad to see our friends were at home this morning! I hope they don't mind the snow that is forecast for this weekend.

Guess we're in deep trouble with the weather. The news just announced that Jim Cantore is in town! Right now they're forecasting 4-8 inches of snow. :girlsad3:

OMG, Jim Cantore is in Harrisburg? That doesn't sound good. Maybe I could spin downtown and show him where the falcons live. :-)

Great idea, Jane! :ok: Maybe he'll point them out to viewers on the Weather Channel!

I am also behind here and can't find the post about what's up with Reenie, but whatever it is my prayers are that you are well!

Yes, Jane, please point out the falcons to Mr. Cantore.

I've seen Jim Cantore's report on The Weather Channel twice so far. He's over on Commonwealth Avenue, well within sight of the Carson Building. Snow is REALLY coming down here. Jim described the flakes as "waffles." A chipmunk is up on my deck eating the seeds the birds spill from the feeders. Poor thing.

Susan, Reenie is posting updates on her condition on Facebook. She posted this morning that she's still in quite a bit of pain, but that its better than the last couple of days.

Thanks. Glad to hear she is better. (Sorry, I don't have a Facebook account.)

Can't see any falcons but the ledge has snow on it and the U Bldg. Very dark and gloomy there. We are having the brightest sunny day you ever saw here, but cold. The cam just changed and no falcons on that side either. Hope they stay warm. Looks like a day for inside sitting in front of the fireplace with a good book, hoping the power stays on.
